Teddy still causing rage.

I am reposting a story and comments from Jihad Watch. there is one part where the rules and reasons for comments seem very pertinent, especially for those who are not that familiar with the site of JW or DW. In the hope that people will learn about this site and understand what the rules are. There are also some very interesting comments as well. And although the commenter...gymnast -2 is 13 years old kudos to you kiddo. Your dad...ethoman should be very proud of you. I wish my Grandkids would take a bit more notice of what is happening in this world. And apart from everything else I happen to love teddy bears...I collect them and my Godson calls me Bear..never has referred to me by any other name....he even addresses my snail mail to me as Bear....
I have left the whole article intact except that I have cleared a lot of the space.

Jihadists try to kill diplomat in Muhammad Teddy Bear revenge plot
Worth killing for
More on this story: the assassination plot was Teddy Bear Rage.
"Mohammed teddy row sparked Islam murder plot," from the Daily Record, September 13:
TERROR suspects tried to kill a British diplomat in revenge for a teacher letting kids name a teddy Mohammed, it was revealed yesterday.
The unnamed diplomat escaped unhurt when he disappeared into a crowd on the day the five men were to execute their plot in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
Details of the would-be assassination came out during the trial of five men accused of killing a US diplomat in Sudan when police general Abdul Rahim Ahmed Abdullah said the five were Islamic fanatics seeking revenge for the teddy bear incident in Khartoum.
Last year, teacher Gillian Gibbons, 54, from Liverpool, was jailed for 15 days for insulting Islam by allowing pupils to name their class mascot Mohammed.
She was later pardoned and allowed to return to the UK.
The five suspects are charged in the killing of American envoy John Granville, 33, and his Sudanese driver.

Is there really two strands of islam - one peaceful and tolerant, practiced by the likes of this Sudanese police general Abdul Rahim Ahmed Abdullah and the other strand practiced by the jihadis around the world?
If so, then surely it must be the mis-understanders of islam who paid US the visit on 9/11 or London on 7/7 and so on...
Is Gordon Brown right when he says that islam is a religion of peace and it is only those who have hijacked this peaceful religion who are the real menace?
I wonder...
Posted by: Hermit at September 13, 2008 9:21 AM
the only ones who hijacked the rop aka islam are the gov't elites! they are the ones trying fool us, the jihadists know they are following the teaching of islam, and follow in the footsteps, bloody at that, mohummad.

I'm sorry to say, Gordon Brown is a seminal idiot.
It's no wonder his coalition is about to fall. He, like Barack Obama is wrong about every major issue. And, he supports the latters candidacy for POTUS. That should tell you what you need to know.

islam is not a religion of peace. the muslims you think are peaceful might be. but its the jihads that wield the power. all muslims believe that true jihadi's will execute them too, for not living under sharia enough.
Posted by: theygottago at September 13, 2008 9:58 AM
l forgot to mention, that these jihadits men followed their mo just like all brave muslim have done for all time, they killed in ambush an unarmed civilian. muslim men most prized victims are women and children.
Posted by: ZenaWarriorPrincess at September 13, 2008 10:12 AM
They have no problem naming their killers-in-training Muhammad. If the name is so sacred then why is a mere mortal allowed to use it?

You guys are the radicals here with your insinuations and innuendo. Clearly the just misunderstood Mohammed's commands. "8:12, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them" Sarc off.

I'm the proud owner of two Mohammed teddy bears, which I ordered online.
One sits on the mantel in the den for ALL to see. The other's in my bookcase with my section of books about Islam, including RS's.
Come and get me, ya Barbarians. Those bears don't come down for nobody.
Posted by: darcy at September 13, 2008 11:16 AM
You never cease to amaze me Darcy...
I guess being a muslim clouds the mind.
They need periodic rage to 'shake the cobwebs out'.
Teddy Bear rage is fairly new in the rage industry, but as you can see, it is taking hold...
What would muslims do if they had nothing to rage about, and no handy excuse to kill kufrs?
Allah's peace on Earth might be glorious, but it would be gloriously boring.
The only entertainment allowed is reading the Quran and praying.
Or going over to the prison to help out with a stoning or two, that's a good way to kill some time.
If Allah wills it, but you know, he always does...
Posted by: duh_swami at September 13, 2008 11:54 AM
Every time I hear about Teddy Bear Rage, I'm tempted to go to my nearest "Build a Bear Workshop". When you're finished with your critter there, you type its name into the computer. Bwahahaha...
Seriously, though-- How do these knuckle-heads figure that an American envoy has anything at all to do with a silly British teacher's innocent mistake?
I guess when Allah's chosen people, the best of all peoples, decide to murder someone, anyone will do.

".....fanatics seeking revenge for the teddy bear incident....."
If ever just eight words summed up the complete and utter insanity of Islamist thinking in a nutshell, it's got to be those.
You couldn't make this stuff up, and if you did nobody would believe you.

Murderous revenge for a teddy bear?
Why, this is michtom mallecho.

Oh my gosh. Your such a meanie Darcy.
Posted by: gymnast_2 at September 13, 2008 2:50 PM
Gymnast_2,
If you are legitimately 13 years old, you are old enough to discover the truth through your own diligence. I recommend you do some research on your own. You can do this by just watching and observing those who claim to be Mohammedan. Or more importantly read the ahadith and the Koran and reason for yourself. You can also go check out some REAL HISTORY books about the 1400 years of history of "Islam", not those books approved of by the "Ministry of Truth".
Remember ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THEN WORDS especially Politically Correct words.
If on the other hand, you are just another CAIR BEAR.....
Posted by: senor doeboy at September 13, 2008 2:56 PM
This case sounds like one of any excuse to kill an infidel. Perhaps they think it adds to their brownie points, to be totted up on the day of judgement.

Right. And you're a total FAKE.
Just as I thought. Fake. Just like your Fake prophet, Mo the Mass-Murderer.

Exactly. Hi "gymnast_2," Mohammedan - so EASY to reveal you! Hi Dougie Hooper, LOSER convert to evil Mohammedanism! LOL!
Bravo Mo Teddy Bears! Order away, everyone.
Posted by: darcy at September 13, 2008 3:47 PM
Wow, you're such meanie's, Islam, Mo, and Qur'an - Genocidal mass-murdering "religion," false "prophet," and Hate/Murder Book.
Oh, and let's not forget vicious and repellent meanie "allah," a pagan moon god that doesn't exist! Meanie mass-murdering-commanding "allah," hate-filled and vicious "Infidel"-murdering "allah," that doesn't exist!
LOL - You Mohammedans worship a pagan moon deity that doesn't exist! Pitiful Primitives! Like "gymnast_2!"
Posted by: darcy at September 13, 2008 4:01 PM
Teddy bears deserve a much better name than that child molesting rat bastard mohammad.
On the other hand, if I had a pot bellied pig, I just might name it mohammad. But most of the time, I'd just call it mo.

LOL you guys! THAT was my daughter! She actually is learning about Islam in school, and had a few questions for me so I sent her here. She has her own typekey accound and we have set down ground rules. Just so you know. Anyways expect to see her here more often, and know she isn't a fake! Jeez I sent her here because I trust you guys to give her the truth. I suppose I'll explain the question to her. She is 13 and old enough to be on here in my opinion, please do respect her though. She will be reading articles, and may comment from time to time. I have allowed this. If our school system feels she is ready, then who am I to stop her?
Posted by: ethoman at September 13, 2008 4:38 PM
Especially you Darcy. You are quite eloquent, and knowledgeable on all of these topics. I have also explained that the site does have saboteurs on it, and if she has any questions to come to me. She understands the paranoia, and so do I.
Posted by: ethoman at September 13, 2008 4:42 PM
I apologize to you Ethoman and Gymnast_2.
For you Gymnast, ask yourself this about the logic in this story. Is it logical to kill an American diplomat on a humanitarian mission to assist the people of Sudan for school children naming a class Teddy Bear? Does this sound peaceful to feel like you have the right to hunt down and kill some visiting “Kafur” over a stuffed animal name by some local youth? Even if “Kafur” are “Najis”?
Go ahead and ask Ethoman what Najis Kafur are.
Posted by: senor doeboy at September 13, 2008 5:27 PM
Welcome gymnast_2! Glad to see you posting.
You're right--violence over naming a teddy bear is anything but peaceful. To make matters worse, the British teacher involved, Gillian Gibbons, was very respectful of Islam. The bear was actually named by her first-grade class in honor a little boy named Muhammed who was the most well-liked kid in the class.
That this incident was so innocent didn't stop Sudan from imprisoning Ms. Gibbons and threatening to sentence her to lashings. Angry mobs called for her death. You can read more about the story here:
http://jihadwatch.org/archives/019017.php
If you want to do a bit more searching, there are lots of other articles on this site. On the home page, just input "Teddy Bear" where it says "Search this site".
By the way, I always look forward to seeing Ethoman's posts.
Good luck!

And the mass-murdering genocidal Islamic Barbarians. 'K?
If "she" does that again, I'm not going to buy your story of your "daughter." Oh come on, does she know about 9/11, or what? Hello, it's not complicated. Not complicated at all.

My guess is they'd look for an excuse. And if they couldn't find one, they'd make one up. The jihad must continue.

I know how to spell ok? My dad told me to write that I thought it was funny. Haha dont worry Im not confused at all I wanted to see what people would tell me. My dad already told me a lot of stuff about Islam, and I think its really bad, they try to make it sound all peaceful but its not. If you look at the roots of Islam you can see all the things that Mohammed said, he said things like this quote: "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." and they call THAT peacful? I call that TERRORIST. That means Mohammed was a TERROIST. And that leads me to beleive that Muslims that follow this and all Muslims that do what he says and beleive its right are "extremists". About the teddy bear thing,It's so stupid to even consider Islam as a religon of peace when they will kill even a school teacher for just calling their teddy bear Mohammed, I think It's insane. No matter what the text books tell me about how good Islam is and how wonderful it was for Spain, Im not buying it.

gymnast_2,
Excellent. Can you read Arjun's response to the "multiple bombings at New Delhi" and see what you think? Arjun is a kind person who has loving Muslim friends. However, his excuses about the hijacking of the religion got on my nerves and I had to respond. I'm afraid I let my frustrations get the better of me. Maybe you can answer him better than I can.
I look forward to reading more of your posts.
So long, for now.

Long time lurker, first time posting.
I think you miss understand gymnast. These people are not extremists, they are orthodox. Make no mistake about it, they are following their moon god in the exact manner in which the false prophet intended.

Gymnast_2,
I see you've read the "Politically Correct" and "current truth" in your text books about the occupation of Hispainia published by the minions at the "Ministry of Truth". I was thinking perhaps a more... scholarly and truthful essay by Bat Ye'or and Andrew G. Bostom is what you might seek.

"Oh my gosh. You’re such a meanie Darcy." Note to self. There will be no teasing Darcy. She will kick your arse :-) I did put her up to that. Gymnast and I have talked over the years, about 911, and related issues. Now that she is learning about this topic from her text books the issues are becoming more complex. Yesterday we had to go over Sura 9, which she now displays knowledge of. I have had to deconstruct the "glory" of an Islamic Spain, and the relativism of the Inquisitions in regards to Christian violence when compared to contemporary Islamic violence, and blasphemy law. She will, from now on, have to be able to deconstruct the half truths that our PC speech codes tend to present to us on her own. To do this she will need knowledge, and vast, huge amounts of it on history, and scripture etc. Like this comment, "These people are not extremists, they are orthodox. Make no mistake about it; they are following their moon god in the exact manner in which the false prophet intended." I knew this, but the full body of the issue is so huge it is hard to relate quickly with all of the nuisances at once. Where else will she get these insights? I can try, but you people here have such a vast collective knowledge and insight how can I not take advantage of it when such a vast conspiracy opposes rationality? Anyways, Darcy if she turns out to be half the woman you are I'd be proud ... peace?

PMK,
Thanks for being so nice to me, I commented on it. Im kind of a begginer when it comes to posting, and all this stuff but I learned how to write these things from whatching my dad (Ethoman) on this website for like 7 years now and all this time I've been seeing his posts and everything I kind of get the idea of how to do it.
Posted by: gymnast_2 at September 13, 2008 10:57 PM
the_antiMo,
Oh ok I get it. That kind of makes me think that extremist is just a word that American media use to justify terrorism and Islam. Beacsue it makes them feel more comfortable, it makes them feel like there is only a small group that follow that, or have that kind of mind-set. Am I kind of right?
Posted by: gymnast_2 at September 13, 2008 11:13 PM
senor doeboy,
Thanks for the link, I like how that actually shows the truth about what happened in Spain, and what the Muslims actually did.

gymnast-2 - welcome to the Hedge School of the Resistance to the Jihad.
Sorry you had a bit of a rough introduction. Hang in there. I'm glad you've got your dad as chaperone and guide.
This comments floor has been called Mr Spencer's living room.
You'll have seen the House Rules summarised above, under the heading 'comments'.
Three years ago, Mr Spencer made a more detailed statement of the House Rules. Now I know you've been reading over your dad's shoulder for a while, but just in case you missed that particular session, I'll re-post it, not just for you, but to remind all of us of what we are about, and anyone else new who may read this now or in the future.
Says Mr Spencer, the perfect gentleman,
"Why do I allow comments on this site?
"Sometimes I wonder, but ultimately it is to allow reasonable people to discuss aspects of the issue at hand, strategize about what to do about it, and make related observations.
"From time to time this has been notably successful — particularly thanks to our own Hugh Fitzgerald and those who have engaged him in discussion.
"Comments continue to be almost completely un-moderated. My staff and I are overtaxed as it is, and I only read comment threads very occasionally. However, I did look in on one last night and ended up deleting quite a few comments (which does not mean that I endorse those that remain).
"If you wonder why, remember: threats are unwelcome.
"Insulting and racist messages are unwelcome.
"Foul language is unwelcome.
"Calls to genocide or nuclear action against holy sites are unwelcome. Etc.
"I didn't create Jihad Watch to be a hate group, as we are often accused of being.
"Of course, jihadists have co-opted the language of "hate" and "racism" from legitimate civil rights movements because they know how effective it is in discrediting their critics in America -- and such claims directed against Jihad Watch are specious and inaccurate.
"In reality, Jihad Watch is a vanguard organization in the defense of universal human rights.
"What is the best way to defeat the global jihad that threatens those rights?
" Not by venting and cursing and threatening. This plays into the hands of those who would destroy us, and that is a stupid and suicidal thing to do.
"I have requested it before: think strategically when you post. {This is something that *I* particularly need to remember - dda}.
"Don't write something that works to the advantage of those who want to discredit the genuine information that this site provides.
"Comments that are boorish, aggressive, etc., or tangled into knots answering some obvious provocateur, will only discourage thoughtful people who are actually in a position to influence policy from using this site as a resource.
"Since the anti-jihad struggle is a struggle for the equality of dignity and rights of all people, it would be nice if the anti-jihad commenters who posted here behaved as if they believed in those things too, and took the moral high ground, in contradistinction to the jihadists.
"One more time: this site is dedicated to raising awareness of the nature of the foe that faces the Western world and all free people.
"This is necessary because most policymakers and analysts in the West so far continue to ignore or deny outright the true nature of that foe.
"Until that changes, the jihadists have the advantage, even if it is not one of military might; there are other ways to win wars.
"Don't let your comment be one that helps them increase that advantage.
- Posted by Robert at May 19, 2005 8:31 AM"
Words worth remembering, by all of us.
